About Us: Vintage Now
Exclusive Hand Beaded Flapper Dresses
However, whenever we were fortunate enough to find one of these fabulous gowns, they had been ravaged by time and the result was heart-wrenching. After much research and many sleepless nights bent over a drawing board, we were ready to begin the mammoth task of creating reproduction 1920ís beaded flapper dresses.
Maintaining the integrity of her personal vision, Ms. De Clario of Vintage Now collaborated harmoniously with the beaders and pattern makers in her pursuit of excellence, resulting in this exquisite collection of twenties-style flapper dresses. Basing her designs on the traditional silhouette of the Chicago 1920ís flapper dresses, these beaded and sometimes fringed and tasseled designs are reflective of the Charleston era: classy, feminine and flirty.
Made exclusively for Vintage Now, this luxurious collection of Beaded Flapper Dresses is designed by Linda De Clario, who has endeavoured to create a product of the highest quality by retaining an unadulterated respect for the essence of the Art Deco traditions of design and craftsmanship whilst producing a gown of timeless elegance.
Merging her original ideas of design and style with the faithful reproduction
of the Jazz Age fashion era, she has created a 21st Century collection
for the modern woman.
Gatsby Dress - 1920s Flapper Dress
If you loved the movie "The Great Gatsby", and want a Gatsby dress, Vintage Now offers spectacular Gatsby inspired dresses.
Each dress takes between 70 and 90 hours to bead (depending on the design).
Each unique design has a matching slip to highlight the fine beading. These flapper dresses will endure through time because of the fine craftsmanship used to fabricate them.
These dresses are produced by the same company who manufactured the beaded dresses seen in the film "The Artist".
